Salary Hike Calculator
Calculate a salary increment or work backwards from a target salary to find the required hike percentage.
Gross salary conversion only. Actual take-home pay depends on taxes, payroll structure, benefits and deductions.
How salary hike percentage is calculated
For a percentage hike, new salary = current salary × (1 + hike ÷ 100). To work backwards, required hike % = ((target salary ÷ current salary) − 1) × 100.
For example, a ₹12,00,000 annual salary with a 20% hike becomes ₹14,40,000 per year, or ₹1,20,000 gross per month.
Salary hike is not the same as take-home pay
This calculator compares gross annual and monthly salary amounts. It does not calculate income tax, provident fund, professional tax, bonuses, benefits or other payroll deductions.
